Basketball Courts Next Year?

Although no plans have yet been approved for the proposed asphalt basketball courts at the Domain it is hoped to have them ready for the 1951 season, it was stated at a meeting of the - management committee of the Whakatane Basketball Association.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of sending a representative Whakatane team to Te Puke on July 22 to defend the Gibbons Shield.
