WIN FOR BAY LEAGUE

Played in heavy rain and on a ground that did not help for fast open football Bay of Plenty registered their second win of the season when they defeated Rotorua 11-8 in a representative rugby league match at Ruatoki on Saturday. A small but enthusiastic crowd watched the game. In their second game this year for the Waitangi Shield Bay of Plenty showed they were superior in most departments.
