Federated Farmers Elect Bay Officers
The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Province of Federated Farmers:—
President, Mr S. A. Wells (Katikati); vice-presidents, Messrs R. F. Wardlaw (Waimana) and A. Robins (Rangitaiki); delegate to Dominion council, Mr Wells; delegates to Dominion conference, chairman of the Dairy and Meat* and Wool sections; member of fertiliser committee, Mr J. D. Alach (Tauranga); member of maize commitice, Mr G. N. Vanstone (Opotiki); member of North Island hill country committee, Mr A. J. Redpath (Opotiki); organising committee, Messrs A. L. Friis, A. H. Rowe and Wells; finance committee", president, secretary and Messrs Vanstone, D C. Butler. F. Wool'sey, Alach and Rowe.
Dairy section: Chairman, Mr D. C. Butler '(Rangitaiki); vice-chair-man, Messrs A. J. McCallion (Opotiki) and G. D. Vercoe (Te Puke); delegate to Dominion produce section, Mr Butler; executive committee, Messrs C. P. Wylde (Waimana), G. N. Vanstone (Opotiki), I. B. Gow (Rangitaiki), A. L. Richardson (Taneatua), A. E. Nettlingham (Te Puke), and N. L. Stone (Katikati).
Meat and Wool section: Chairman, Mr A. J. Redpath (Opotiki); vice-chairmen, Messrs F. Woolsey (Te Puke) A. H. Rowe (Ohauiti); delegate to Dominion produce section, Mr Redpth; executive committee, Messrs T. S. Ferguson (Pye’s Pa), J. Powdrell (Te Puke), W. Matheson (Ohauiti), W. H. Morris (Tauranga), W. Ross (Te Puke) and A. P. Grayling (Oropi).
