Last season 56 children at Whakatane gained school swimming the educational officer, Mr C. Lindsay, Rotorua, reported to the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Swimming Centre. Other figures for Bay schools are:—

The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Swimming Association held at Tauranga:—

Lindsay, re-elected; handicapper, Mr B. Nisbett (Rotorua) re-elect-ed; auditor, Mr A. G. Garlick (Rotorua); starter, Mr J. Sinclair (Rotorua); resident delegate to N.Z. Conference, Mr J. W. Twomey (Christchurch); delegates to Dominion Conference, Mrs E. L. Barry (Tauranga) and Mr Lindsay.
