COMPETITIONS CONTINUE» ON SUNDAY Hockey competitions of the Central Bay of Plenty Association will swing into the second week when matches will be continued on Sunday. Competition is particularly strong this season and with players becoming fitter some good games are expected. The draw:—
A Grade: Women at 1 p.m.: Matata v Apanui at Apanui (Chaytor and Mrs Grey), Te Teko v Awakeri Rovers v Poroporo at Poroporo (Rigden-and Marx): Men at 2.15 p.m.: Matata v Apanui at Apanui (Chaltor and Mrs Grey), Riverslea v Awakeri at Awakeri (Henderson and Crooks), Rovers v Poroporo at Poroporo (Rigden and Marx). A Grade: Women at 1 p.fti.: Te Teko v Paroa at Paroa (Keriti Mrs Grant), Huimai v Taneatua at Taneatua (Gardner and Jensen), Poroporo v Otakiri Stars at Otakiri (Mackrell and Barton), Otakiri v Onepu at Onepu (Tiki and Mrs Peck). Men: Te Teko v Rangers at Edgecumbe 1.15, Huimai v Taneatua at Taneatua 2.15 (Gardner . and O’Brien), Poroporo v Otakiri Stars at Otakiri 2.15 (Mackrell and Bartoil), Otakiri a bye.
