Miniature Rifles
LARGE CROWD ATTENDS OPENING NIGHT A large, enthusiastic crowd attended the Whakatane Legion Miniature Rifle Club opening shoot at the Show Buildings on Wednesday evening, and many new members were enrolled. This was the first indoor shoot for the season.
Both trophies, the senior spoon, and junior pennant were won on handicap by Miss A. Bathe. J. Rhodes won the own start sweepstake after a shoot off with F. D. Mayo. Results:—
