No Bay Provincial Rugby Games Allotted To Whakatane Yet
No representative Bay of Plenty rugby games have been set down to be played at Whakatane this season although Te Puke is to b,e the venue of this year’s game between the Bay of Plenty and Poverty Bay l ugby representatives, providing Poverty Bay travels. This was announced at the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union. Other games will be played against East Coast at Opotiki and Waikato at Tauranga. The Bay of Pienty team will probably travel to. Auckland to play Auckland B and to the Thames Valley.
