Eastern Bay Red Cross Reviews Successful Year
The report and balance sheet presented to delegates of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society at the annual meeting held at Whakatane on Friday showed a successful year financially and good work performed.
Mrs C. B. Balfour was appointed Junior Red Cross Organiser, and /a vote of thanks was passed, to Miss L. M. Lawes, who has been organiser for the last few years. She will continue to act as Sub-Centre Organiser in Whakatane. Officers elected:—
President, Mrs W. Sullivan; vicepresidents, Mesdames L. B. Smith and B. S. Barry; secretary-treasurer, Mrs A./ W. Winstone. /
