Basketball Club To Hold Dances
A decision to combine with the United Football Club to run three dances during.the year was reached by the Whakatane Basketball Club at the annual meeting on ;Monday night. The opening practice was set down fqr 1.30 p.m. on Saturday at the Domain courts. Officers elected: —
President, Mrs M. Rowson; secretary, Miss P. O. Stewart; social committee, Misses V. Bowering (convenor), E. Quigg, N. Kenyon, B. Wallace, J. Shapley, Mesdames N. Wheeler and I. Shapley.
When you wash glasses, use warm soapy water, then rinse in more -warm water, to which is added a little washing blue. This makes them .brilliant.
