Matata Speed Boats’ Success
At the Easter Speed-boat Racing Regatta held at Rotorua Tommy Potter and Geoff Conn, Matata, racing “Brown Bomber” and “Miss Matata” were successful in gaining places. In the first day’s racing Potter gained second place in the twice round the lake while in the Gilltrap Trophy race on the second day Conn came second and Potter third.
