Edgecumbe Red Cross Has Busy Year
Mrs T. G. Roberts presided over an enthusiastic annual meeting of the Edgecumbe Red Cross SubCentre. During the year, it was reported, clothes had been sent overseas and assistance had been given a settler from Europe in settling down to work on a district farm.
It was decided to hold meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Officers elected:— 7 President, Mrs T. G. Roberts; vice-* president, Mrs A. E. Hawken; secretary-treasurer, Mrs D. G. Hawken; bring and buy stall, Mrs L. B. Martin; committee, Mesdames A. C. Clark, J. Jespersen, H. S. Mexted, D. Huculack, W. Goldsmith (Jnr), C. .Plank.
