Shooting
FINE PERFORMANCE BY P. NEWTON The Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club held a practice shoot on Saturday fSr the Bay of Plenty Shield competition which is to be held on the Tauranga rifle range on Saturdal. Conditions will be 10 shots at 500 and 600 yards. Newton made a brilliant possible at 500 yards at last week’s shoot ‘making his total 96 out of a possible 100, closely followed by Davies with a score of 95. Next shoot will be held on March 25.
