Rowing

CREWS FOR FINAL REGATTA TOMORROW Five crews, the same who competed so successfully in the Auckland Provincial Championships last week, are to represent the Whakatane Rowing Club in the final regatta of the Auckland Province at Ngaruawahia tomorrow. Crews from all parts of the Auckland Province are expected to be present and the competition will be as tough as last week.

In the past week local crews have maintained concentrated training under the guidance of the coach, Mr C. D. Molesworth, and should the crews strike the same form as that of Mercer they will be difficult to beat. Because of the unusual conditions prevailing at Ngaruawahia much of the success of any crew depends on their draw from the start.

Crews will travel up tonight and return after the events tomorrow.
