MAORI TEAM TO PLAY AT OPOTIKI A strong team has been selected to represent the Whakatane Maori team against Whakatohea (Opotiki) in the final tennis match for the Wilson Cup to be played at Opotiki on Saturday. A bus is to leave Whakatane at 7.30 aun. via Hokowhitu, Hohapata’s corner and Poroporo. The team is:— Men: S. Davis, H. Ranapia, T. Riini, B: Taylor, J. Wano, J. Tunui, S. Wano. Women: E. Ranapia, M. Wahapango, D. Harawira, K. Bidois, J. Ratene.
