Large Crowd At R.S.A. Smoko
The annual smoko of the Whakatane R.S.A. was held on Saturday night in the Winter Show building with an attendance of about 200 members, who enjoyed a splendid evening.' The usual toasts of “The King”, The R.S.A., Combined Services, The Silent Toast, and that of the Nursing Service were proposed and replied to. Musical items were presented by Messrs K. Jarrett and Cottrill.
