Minister To Visit West Coast
The Hon. W. Sullivan, Minister of Labour, has commenced a visit to the West Coast of the South Island from last Saturday to March 14, for the purpose of inspecting mining enterprises in the area. At Greymouth, he will inspect the Strongman, Blackball and Paparoa collieries, and view certain goldmining areas. $ At Westport, he will visit the Stockton and Denniston State collieries and will inspect also all State mines in the Reefton coalfield. e
