Maori Essays Good

Essays in the competitions for Maori children, run in conjunction with the farm schools in the eastern Bay of Plenty by Federated Farmers, had been exceptionally good, said Mr E. J. Vosper, Provincial Secretary, at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Executive at Whakatane. There had been a first, a second and three third places awarded by the judges.
