Food Premises Are Kept Reasonably Well At Whakatane

“Routine inspections of Whakatane food premises show that the 'majority of occupiers do their best to maintain the premises at a reasonably good standard,” the health' inspector, Mr A. R. Knights, reported to the monthly meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council. Permits through the building controller are no longer required for alterations and additions to premises so that they will comply with Health Regulations. Permits can be issued by Local Authorities, so now there can be no excuse that permits cannot be obtained, the inspector added.
