Good Progress On Ruatoki Roading
About 60 miles of road, covering the whole of the Ruatoki development area, should soon be completed by the Works Department, and handed over to the County for maintenance.
This work is the result of a grant of £33,000 by the -Labour Government for the .improvement of the roads up to County Under the supervision of the overseer, Mr D. Mansell, progress has been good, and fully 30 miles of roading are already completed, with the rest due to i , ea£h the required standard very soon.
