Te Whaiti Girl Wins Maori Sholarship
A pupil of the Te Whaiti Maori School, Elizabeth Anderson, has been one of ' the successful Maori pupils who have been awarded the Ngarimu and Maori Battalion Memorial Scholarships for the current, year, according to an announcement made by the ’Minister of Education, Mr Algie. ‘ ■/ The scholarship is valued at £6O per annum with an additional £4O per annuiii boarding allowance where necessary.
