Assistant Teacher Now At Galatea

After a long wait and much inconvenience to both the school children and Mr Lane, their teacher, it is very pleasing to know t|iat an assistant teacher has been found for the Galatea School, writes the Beacon’s Galatea correspondejnti. Miss White commenced her duties when school re-opened and it is hoped that she will be very happy with her post and remain with the school for a long time. The school roll has swelled yet again with the new term and it is hoped that the additional room will be built before very much longer.
