Hotels are Popular In Warm Weather

During the present dry spell the most popular places in the Bay of Plenty are the swimming pools, milk bars, beaches and hotel bars. The hotel bars especially are receiving more than their usual attention and appear to be just as popular jwith others than the usual drinking public. Hotels from all over the Bay have reported an increase in their trade during the past few weeks. In the hour before 6 p.m. during the week bars have been filled while late Saturday afternoon it has been almost impossible to enter some hotel bars. Friday has also become a popular time to visit hotels.
