Early Application For Vaccination Service Urged

With the increasing use by farmers of the Department of Agriculture’s service of vaccination of calves against contagious abortion, it is important that avoidable delays which ate experienced by inspectors of stock carrying out the work should be eliminated. The closing date for application was last Friday and now a late fee is payable on all applications made. Co-operation is sought from farmers both in making early applications 1 for the service and also in the provision of facilities to ensure that much heavy work in manhandling the calves is avoided. In areas \yhere farms are close together grouping of the calves to be vaccinated on a centrally-situated farm where yards are available is appreciated.
