Thornton W.L Plans Children’s Party

Arrangements for the children’s Christmas party were finalised at the monthly meeting of the Thornton Women’s Institute when two new members were enrolled. A humorous play reading item was presented by ’ Mesdames Gardiner and McQueen. Mrs R. Withy gave a demonstration of making cellophane hats. A wall competition was won by Mrs T.
