28 Calves Paraded At Taneatua

Twenty-eight calves were paraded at the Taneatua School and, according to the judges, the quality of the animals showed that the competitors had spent considerable time and energy in preparing them Ellen Hope’s animal was adjudged the champion Taneatua calf and it also won the Opouriao Dairy Company’s Shield by 1|- points when competing later, against calves from Opouriao. The silver* button donated by the Taneatua Calf Club Committee was won by Peter Anderson. David Hill, Pouwhare Te Maipi and Walter Reid were second equal. Full results:—
