THAT WAIMANA MEETING

Sir, —From your 1 correspondent "Democratic" we learn that at Waimana Mr- Santon had one of the noisiest meetings held there and that the audience did not give the candidate courteous attention at all. What a shameless admission from a writer who pretends to subscribe to the principles of freedom of speech! If my friends refused to give a candidate courteous attention and a patient hearing I' would hang my head with shame -rather than gloat over it. . Yours etc., FAIR HEARING.
