Good Hearing For Labour Candidate

Supporters of the Government in this electorate are very pleased with the good hearing their candidate, Mr Godfrey Santon has been getting.

His meeting at Ngakuru on Monday night drew a packed house, and his address followed closely along the lines of that at his Rotorua meeting, which was fully reported in the Beacon.

v The audience was quietly attentive, and quite a number of questions were asked and answered. The meeting concluded with a wote of thanks to the speaker. At Matata last night a well-at-tended meeting gave Mr Santon a splendid hearing and passed a vote of confidence in the Government.
