BOARD MILL DOOMED?
Sir, —Reflecting on the broadcast policy statement of the Leader, »of the Opposition “that if returned to power, his party would remove import control and would encourage only those New Zealand industries Which could compete with overseas goods” it would appear that notice has been served on our local board mill. Further, what of the Murupara project and the prosperity it would ensure for the Bay of Plenty? To continue ihe trend of thought to its logical conclusion, We would soon reach the stage of'‘fifteen men for ten jobs’—the Nationalists ultimate goal. : Yours etc., BAY-ITE.
