Taneatua Women’s Institute Meets
The October meeting of the Taneatua W.I. was well attended and there was one new member proposed. Arrangements were made for the birthday party, which will be celebrated next month. Mrs R. McGougan and Mrs Hayward are the delegates to attend the bi-annual Council meeting to be held at Otakiri.
Very interesting letters expressing grateful thanks for parcels received were read from the link Institute in England. Schedules for the show to be held on November 26 were distributed and are available to anyone interested. It was decided to have a special effort with the funds to go to the school towards a new projector. The date and form of the effort will be arranged later. Birthday posies were presented to five members.
