RIFLE CLUB RETAINS UNBEATEN RECORD The unbeaten record of the Legion of Frontiersmen Miniature Rifle Club was maintained by defeating the Rowing Club 906-700 out of a possible of 1000 in a special challenge shoot last week. Results:— Legion: W. Tyssen 96, Miss ' D.' Tyssen 94, Miss A. Bathe 93, E. R. Hunt 93, C. T. Bathe 92, Mrs Critehley 91, R. Thompson 91, Mrs E. Bathe 89, Mrs J. Bradshaw 85, A. Baker 82. * Rowing Club: D. O. Stewart 87, R. King 82, B. Norman 76, L. O. Stewart 73, C. O’Rourke 72, M. Whittaker 71, E. Middlemas 69, G. Moore 66, M. Brown 61, K. Dines 43. The holders of the Club Buttons were challenged and defeated by W. Tyssen, Miss A. Bathe, E. R. Hunt and R. Thompson. On handicap Miss Tyssen won both the junior and senior trophies.
