Edgecumbe Centre Thanks Interpreter

Appreciation of the work done by Mr C. W. Clarke, Edgecumbe, for assisting in translating for a European immigrant who has now settled at Edgecumbe was expressed at the monthly meeting of the cumbe Sub-Centre of the Red Cross. It was reported that the immigrant had now been joined by the rest of his family and was settling down to his work well.

The Edgecumbe Centre, with the assistance of other centres has materially helped the immigrant to establish' his new home.

A stall day is to be held at Edgecumbe on November 7 when funds will be raised for the Centre.
