New Telephone Directory Expected Early Next Year

A new telephone directory will be issued for Whakatane, Taneatua, Te Teko, Waimana and Matata early next year. A new directory has just ben distributed and normally another one would not be due for distribution until about September of next year but with the new arrangement of including Whakatane in a new Bay of Plenty directory instead of with Thames, Whakatane gets a directory six months ahead of the usual. This is fortunate as so many changes have occurred since the directory last went to press. Copy for the new directory will close some time next month so that subscribers who desire to make changes should apply as early as possible.
