i One of the minor effects of the change in the dollar rate will be noted by those New Zealanders who buy American publications. One of the most popular magazines which now costs 1/4 will probably rise to , about 2/6. American books, too, j will be affected and there was like- j ly to be fewer of these on the shelves of libraries in future unless some special arrangement is made.
