ANNUAL GOLF BALL AT WAIMANA HAD A LARGE CROWD.
The Waimana Hall was fitted to capacity with happy dancers for the Waimana Golf Club’s Aaaual Ball. The hall and stage were gaily de- vcorated with nikau palms, ferns and flowers. Harrison’s orchestra supplied excellent dance music, and Mr Malcolm Burke played several supper extras. The savoury supper was the centre of attraction fdr scree time and proved the highlight at the evening. • Mr M. King.was Master of Ceremonies' and kept the dancing moving until the early hours of the morning. The many lovely evening frocks were seen at their best during the Grand March.
