Heal Object Of N.Z. Health Stamp Sales
The Health Stamp was first placed on sale in New Zealand in 1929 under the objectionable name of “Charity Stamps.” The general principle is that to the postage value of the stamp, one half of the postage value is added, and this amount is paid by the Post Office to the Health Camp authorities. Last year the total amount handed over by the Post Office to Health Camp funds was £35,732, a very valuable donation from the people of New Zealand.
