JUNIOR WINS SENIOR AND JUNIOR TROPHIES
Miniature Rifles
Both the senior and junior trophies were won by a junior, Miss A. Bathe, at the fortnightly shoot of the Whakatane Miniature Rifle Club. Miss Bathe’s father, C. Bathe, later won an “own start” sweepstake with D. O. Stewart winning the second. The next shoot on October 6, will see a regular invasion of the Home Servicemen’s Association, who hope to have four teams to compete against the Club. Scores: —■ Senior Section: W. Tyssen 93, C.
