Traffic Offenders Fined
Several persons were fined by Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Whakatane yesterday for driving vehicles without current warrants of fiitness.
David Anderson, storeman, was fined 10s, costs £1 !?s 6d; William Norman Dawson, painter, 10s, costs £1 2s 6d; John Leslie Fulton, salesman, Napier, 10s, costs £1 Os 6d; George Thomas Lodge (Mr G. Otley) farmer, Awakeri, 10s, costs £1 2s 6d; Trevor Hugh Martin, apprenticed electrician, Edgecumbe, 10s, costs £1 2s 6d; Martui Pokai, farmer, Ruatoki, 10s, costs £1 8s 6d; Douglas Charles Stevens, newspaper editor, 10s, costs £1 0s 6d.
