Saturday’s Hunt At Opouriao Provided Exciting’ Sport
Exciting sport, with one kill, was enjoyed by followers of the hunt conducted by the Rangitaiki Ward, Opotiki Hunt Club, at Opouriao on Saturday. Starting at Tebbutt’s property, hounds worked over McGougan’s, Richardson’s and Rawson’s across the road to Tome’s and Santon’s through Dunstan’s where the hare was killed, and back to the starting point.
Amongst the riders' were the Ward Master, Mr G. Fogerty on Ranger, L. Looney Waiotahi, T. Black Strawberry, B. Mears Blue, M. Gillanders Princess, B. Coker Kenny, B. Corcoran Good Thing, T. Goldsmith Red, R. Bartlett Sherwood Forest, D. Henry Locomotive, R. Orr Midnight Matinee, N. Smith Lizzie, B. Soutar Goldie, A. 'Reid Lassie, L. Soutar Master Meruit, A. Neilsen Burberry, J. Sunkel Dia- X mond, P. Tauru Sometimes, N. McDonald Now and Then, T. t Fabish Chang, A. Smith Colleen, S. Campbell Picadilly, D. Blomfield Spider, K. Blomfield Nobby, T. Maxwell Bess, T.
