The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Whakatane St John Ambulance Association at Whakatane on Wednesday night;— Chairman, Mr A. J. Canning; vicechairman, Mr A. R. Carling; committee, Messrs H. G. Warren, E. R. DiMicar, R. Riddell, R. Ferry, A.> Drube, V. Allen, K. Needham, D. Paterson, Mesdames A. Carling and' Dockray, Whakatane; Messrs J. Sim, G. Hunter, Edgecumbe; Messrs D. G. Kyte and J. W. Barker, Taneatua; secretary, Mr John W. G: Smith. •
