Winter Show Wants Keen Young Men

Speaking at the Chamber of Commerce meeting in Whakatane on Wednesday night, Mr H. G. Warren, President of the Winter Show Association, appealed to younger members of thb Chamber to take an interest in the Association’s affairs. He said there were men on the Winter Show executive who had been there since the Show was first started, and, while they had not lost any* of their enthusiasm, they were getting on in years, and felt it was only fair that some of the younger businessmen should shoulder a share of the burden.

He appealed to younger men to put more effort into the work of the Association, to attend the annual meeting and to offer themselves for selection to the executive.
