Whakatane Needs More Blood Donors
More blood donors are wanted at. Whakatane, it was stated at this week’s annual meeting of the Whakatane St John Ambulance Association. At present there are only a very small number upon whom the hospital can call and these are being made use of continually. The president, Mr A. J. Canning, appealed for more people of Whakatane to volunteer for the necessary work. Blood donors were urgently needed and it was the aim of the St John and the hospital, to have as many people as possible upon whom they could call when more blood was required.
