Waimana Y.F.C. Wins Rugby Challenge

A strong rugby challenge from the Wainui Club was unsuccessful against the Waimana Young Farmers’ Club on the Waimana Domain last week-end. Although both teams showed signs of lack of practise together they played some attractive football, which was watched by u fairly large crowd. Waimana was slightly superior and. came out the final winners by nine points to three. For them Linwood scored a try and Stevenson converted, two penalty goals. Shadbolt kicked a penalty goal for Waihui.
