W.I. Plays Presented At Edgecumbe
Plays by four of the Women’s Institutes in the Eastern Bay of Plenty were presented to a large crowd at the Central Theatre, Edgecumbe, last week. Convened by Mrs F. Mayo the plays were well received and showed a good appreciation of dramatic art among members. The best drama was staged by Taneatua, the best comedy by Waimana and the best actress was Mrs Iris Hepburn.
