COMPETITIONS CONTINUE TOMORROW
Following the representative trials at 1 p.m. tomorrow on the hard courts the Whakatane weekly club basketball competitions will be continued commencing at 2 p.m. At present the competition leaders are Paroa with Olympics immediately behind. The draw: — 2 p.m.: Court No. 1, Olympics v Ruatoki, Miss Sisam; No. -2, Paroa A v Poroporo, Miss Tautini; No. 3 Paroa Minors v Matatua, Mrs Lynds; No. 4, Redwings v Taneatua, Mrs Mole; No. 5 Mcßaes v Stewarts, Mrs Shapley. 2.45 p.m.: No. 1, Mcßaes v Taneatua, Mrs Shapley; No. 2, Redwings v Stewarts, Miss Arbon; No. 3, Ruatoki v Poroporo, Miss Tautini; No. 4, Paroa A v Matatua, Mrs Mole; No. 5, Olympics v Paroa Minors, Miss Sasam.
