Croquet 500 Afternoon
There was a good crowd to a social 500 afternoon of the Whakatane Croquet Club held in the club pavilion last week. At the winning table were Mesdames C. Bathe, J. Hanwright, C. W. Loane and J. D. Rivett. Consolation trophies we’’c won by Mesdames J. Burgess, A. R Carling, F. Comer and T. Reid. Mrs Grey won a competition.
