Voting Booths For Military Training Poll On August 3

Polling booths in the Bay of Plenty to be used for the referendum on compulsory military- training, which is to take place on August 3, have just been announced. Most areas are now more fully catered for and the list is slightly different from the booths used in the liquor and gaming polls earlier in the year. Booths selected are:—

Edgecumbe, Presbyterian Hall; Galatea,- Public School: Whakatane, King Street Hall, Borough Council Chambers, County u-ouncil Chambers; Board Mills recreation room; Kutanere, Public School; Manawahe, Public School; Matahina, Mill Office; Matata, Maori School; Minginui, Maori School; Murupara, Rangitahi dining hall; Nukuhou North, Public School; Ohope Beach, Captain’s Cabin; Otakiri, Public School; Poroporo, Public School; Ruatoki North, Tuhoe Co-operative Society’s Store Shed; Taneatua, Hall; Te Teko, Maori School; Te Whaiti, Waikotiki dining room; Thornton, Hall; Waimana, Public School; Waiohou, Maori School.
