Board Needed For School Teachers
Whakatane is not alone in its accommodation problem. Considerable difficulty is being experienced by the Edgecumbe School Committee finding board for two teachers out there. All efforts to find private accommodation for Mr H. Lopdell, recently-arrived assistant master, have failed, and Miss S. Stewart of Auckland, who has been appointed to fill another vacancy, is free to take up dutes immediately she can find a place to live.
