Ohope Women Learn Glove Making
Several members have decided to take lessons from Mrs K. Stewart for making gloves it was revealed at the monthly meeting of the Ohope Women’s Institute. Mrs Kerr, in judging the competitions, awarded Mrs Campbell first and Mrs Clark second for soft toys; and Mrs Paterson first for spring bulbs. Mesdames Kerr and Dickson were presented with small prizes for points won in last month’s competition.
Miss Stewart capably handled the bring and buy stall, and Mesdames Pearson, Campbell and Dickson were the hostesses for the afternoon tea.
