London Thanks Red Cross For Cases Of Milk Powder
\ Appreciation of a consignment of six cases of milk powder sent J through the Waikato Centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, has been received by the secretary of the Wfiakatane Red Cross Centre, Mrs A. W. Winstone. The case was sent by the s.s. Fordsdale and the letter is from Miss A. M. Keating, of the Commonwealth Gift Centre, Ministry of Food. Miss Keating writes from London: “We have received your consignment of six cases of milk powder and I would like you to extend to all your members the very sincere thanks of the Commonwealth Gift Centre for this most generous gift, and it will give us very great pleasure to distribute it in the usual way to old people and others who are in need. “These distributions are carried out in conjunction with the Local Authorities, thereby ensuring an equal countrywide distribution.”
