Board’s Assistance Appreciated

A tribute to the Bay of Plenty District Power Board for the assistance, given to Whakatane in the allocation of power over the past few months was paid by councillors at the monthly meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council. Whakatane had been over the allocation continually but the Power Board had always co-operated in the situation.

However, it was pointed out that the same position could not go on indefinitely and in future the Board would be forced to keep Whakatane within its own allocation.
